FAQ Good to know

  • Can the pool and sauna area also be used by external guests?

No, the pool and sauna area is reserved exclusively for our hotel and apartment guests.

  • Is the sauna textile-free?

For various reasons, our sauna may only be used textile-free. Firstly, hygiene plays a key role, as synthetic swimwear releases harmful substances in the heat of the sauna. Secondly, sweat from swimming in the leisure pool gets into the water, which is unpleasant for the other guests in the swimming area. Furthermore, sweating without swimwear is also healthier, as clothing prevents the sweat on the skin from evaporating.

  • What are the opening hours of the pool area?

The hotel's own wellness area on the lower level is available to you daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. – this includes the pool, whirlpool, a modern fitness room and an oriental relaxation room.

  • Is the pool area wheelchair accessible?

Our Rugard Royal Spa, including the pool area, is located on the lower level of our hotel and can only be reached via a small staircase with three steps. Unfortunately, there is therefore no wheelchair-accessible access to the spa.

  • From what age are children allowed in the pool area?

We are delighted to welcome you and your children. Please note that the pool area is a place of relaxation. For safety reasons, children under the age of twelve may only enter the wellness area when accompanied by their parents.

Small children who are not yet toilet-trained may only use the wellness area, and especially the pool, while wearing swim nappies.

  • Is there anything to consider regarding swimwear?

Due to the risk of slipping, please wear suitable bathing shoes in the bathing area. Small children who are not yet toilet-trained may only use the wellness area, and especially the pool, while wearing swim nappies.

  • What is the water temperature in the pool?

The water temperature of our pool is 28 °C.
